How To : Use Target templates
With Target templates you can link incident entries to measurement templates and create a measurement for the various entities as specified in the table below. Target templates point to a specific Measurement Template and can point to a specific Inspector User Name.

Item | Link items in combination with vendor and customer accounts to a measurement template. Use Target Values to further refine the item, numeric, settings |
Item Category | Link item categories in combination with vendor and customer accounts to a measurement template. |
Standard Task | Use Standard Tasks in routing operations, in combination with the operation status, to a measurement template. |
Service Item Group | Use Service Item Groups to link service item lines in a service order to a measurement template. |
Man | |
Employee | Use Employee codes to link to a measurement template. |
Resource | Use Resources to link to a measurement template. |
Resource Groups | Use Resource Groups to link to a measurement template. |
Machine | |
Machine Center | Use Machine Center codes to link to a measurement template. |
Work Center | Use Work Center codes to link to a measurement template. |
Resource | Use Resources, Resource Groups or Resource Types to link to a measurement template. |

Note that the target templates are grouped as per the 4M method to be used as starting point for a problem solving method like 8D
