Job Estimate

The Job Estimate allows you to create a high level, preliminary, calculation as well as the breakdown structures for the Job.

  1. The Estimate starts with defining the Job Deliverable.
  2. The next step is to decompose the deliverable in its main. Define the required elements in the Job Elements page.
  3. Select the Activities required for the Job in the Job Activities page
  4. For each Element the required Activities are selected to create the Element, with the New Job Acitivity action.
  5. For each combination of Job Element and Job Activity the estimated number of working days can be specified as well as the estimated cost of the activity.
  6. On the Job Element line the costs for Material, Equipment and Expenses can be added resulting in a total cost per Element and when all Elements are completed a total estimated cost for the Job is available.
  7. Use the Create Job Task Matrix action to create Job Tasks for each of the Element - Activity combinations.
