ProjectBudget Line Actions

From the ProjectBudget Line menu ribbon the following actions are available:

Section Action Description
Process Copy You can Copy a budget line to another Project Task
Move You can Move a budget line to another Project Task
Split You can Split the quantity on a budget line to a new budget line
Breakdown You can breakdown a resource group in individual resources. Select resources from the resource group or from all resources. The quantity of the resource group is set to 0.
Copy to Planning You can copy planning lines of the type Budget to planning lines of the type Planning
Project Assembly BOM Create ProjectAssembly BOM You can make a Project version of an assembly BOM from which you can add/modify/delete components. The ProjectAssembly BOM is used when creating and Assembly order, otherwise, the default Assembly BOM is used.
Show ProjectAssembly BOM Once a Project assembly BOM is created you can open it to make modifications.
Delete ProjectAssembly BOM You can delete the Project assembly BOM.
Project Production BOM Create ProjectBOM and Routing version You can make a Project version of a production BOM and Routing. More information.
Show ProjectBOM and Routing version You can open the Project production BOM and Routing as selected, or created, on the ProjectBudget line. More information
Cost Price per Lot Size With this action you can calculate the optimal lot size for a production item. More information
Project Components Expand ProjectComponents BOM With this action you can copy the components of an assembly BOM to new budget lines based on the quantity of the assembly item. The quantity on the parent item will be set to 0. You can still use the quantity field for the parent item to update the quantity of the components. Once expanded you cannot create an assembly order for the parent item.
Collapse ProjectComponents BOM With this action you can collapse an expanded assembly BOM. After collapsing you can create an assembly order again.
Add ProjectComponents With this action you can add a component to an expanded list. In this way it will be included in quantity updates of the parent item.
Other Apply Surcharge Model With this action you can calculate surcharges and add them as separate budget lines of the type surcharge. The calculation is based on the surcharge model set for the Project Task See also: Surcharges
Create Item The create item wizard will allow you to create a new item and have it inserted as a project budget line. The item can be created by: - copying from another item; - selecting an item template; - create from a non-stock item
Insert Ext. Texts This action inserts extended texts as set for the item, resource, or G/L account when these are not set as automatic ext. text. The Business Central extended texts feature has been extended to include budget lines.
