IEM Advanced Job Management

Work Types

Specifies work types, which are used with the registration of both the usage and sales of resources in job journals, resource journals, sales invoices, and so on. Work types indicate the various kinds of work that a resource is capable of carrying out, such as overtime or transportation.
Work types can be used to establish various prices and costs in resources and resource groups depending on the type of work to be carried out.
Each work type has its own unit of measure. This enables you to assign more than one unit of measure to each resource.

IEM adds additional settings to Work Types:

  • Consume Leave: When checked Time Ledger Entries with this Work Type are retrieved in the Leave Journal.
  • Default Job Cost Type: Select the Job Cost Type which should be used when this Work Type is selected in Job Budget or Job Planning Lines.
  • Time Type: The time type will be set based on the selected work type. The Time Type supports 2 different functionalities: Job Task Planning Information FactBox and Leave Management.
