Configuring Commodity Processes
Before you can manage commodity processes, you must configure the rules and values that define the company's commodity polices.
First, you set up your items, vendors, and locations to utilize commodities. You also configure other rules and settings that will determine how commodity transactions that involve these records are processed.
If the costs of commodity items are based on external cost factors, you must define the commodity cost components and related commodity classes that are necessary to perform this type of calculation.
