Setting Up Producer Zones
You can use the Producer Zones window to set up producer zones that split your commodity producers into geographical regions. You can then assign hauler charges to a producer zone, which represent the amount that freight companies will charge to deliver items from that zone to your company locations.
- In the Search box, enter Producer Zones, and then choose the related link.
- On the Home tab, in the New group, choose New.
- Fill in a line with a code and a description for the producer zone.
- Repeat the procedure for each new producer zone you want to set up. You can set up any number of producer zones.
