How to perform an Allergen rollup

The Allergen Rollup is a process that runs without interference from the user. It will look for all items that contain Allergens and then copy these values to the BOM in which an item is used. After linking the Allergen code to the BOM, the system will then look at the items that are associated with this BOM and copy the Allergen codes to these items. Then another search for a higher placed BOM will take place etc. etc.

In this way the system will automatically copy Allergen codes linked to a raw material all the way through the intermediate towards the end product.
Allergen Codes of the type "May contain", linked directly to BOMs are also copied towards the items above that BOM, so in the end the Finished Product can contain both Allergens and "May Contain" from ingredient-items and can also contain "May Contain" from the BOMs used to produce the finished product.

The process of rolling up Allergens can also be automated. It is possible to run the Allergen Rollup process through the job queue. In order to perform this task, the Job queue needs to be set up and a seperate Job Queue Entry need to be created for CodeUnit 37002922. The normal settings for the Job Queue apply and there is no specific instruction for the recurrence etc. This is all specific to the individual customers need.
