How To : Insert a Service Object in a Service Contract
Use the Service Contract page to insert a Service Object's Service Items.
Insert a Service Object in a service contract means that the service items linked to the Service Object will be inserted on the Servcie Contract lines.
- In the Search box, type Service Contract.
- Select Service Contract to open the list of Service Contracts.
- Select New to create a new Service Contract or Edit to modify the selected entry. In both cases the Service Contract card opens
- Complete a New contract or when editing an existing contract make sure to "Open Contract"
- On the Lines menu select Line - Insert Service Object
- From the drop down list select the Service Object to be inserted, and click OK
- The program will now insert the Service Items linked to the Service object into the Service Contract Lines
To view the Service Object for the customer from the Service Contract use the "Select Contract Lines" action on the Actions tab and set the Service Objects filter
