How To : Create a Service Object from a Job Deliverable
Use the Job Deliverable in Advanced Job Management to create a Service Object .
Creating a Service Object from a Job Deliverable
- In the Search box, type Jobs.
- Select Jobs from the Advanced Job management Department to open the list of available Jobs.
- Select the Job to create a Deliverable from and click Edit to open the Job card
- Select the Navigate tab and locate the Deliverable action, click to open the Deliverables list
- In the Deliverables list click New to create a new Deliverable, or Edit to maintain an existing Deliverable
- Typically, you must fill the following fields:
| Field | Description |

| No. | Identifies the Job Deliverable. On a New line tab to the Description field to get the next number from the No. Series as set in the Advanced Jobs Setup. |
| Description and Description 2 | A short Description for the Deliverable, Description 2 can be made visible through Choose Columns. |
| Comments | The field indicates if Comments have been added (Yes) or not (No). Clicking on this field will open the Job Comment List in which Job Deliverable specific comments can be made. |
| Unit of Measure | Select the Unit of Measure for the Deliverable |
| Service Item Group | When the Deliverable is to be linked to a Service Object, select a Service Item Group |
| Item No. for Service | When the Deliverable is based on an Item No. and when the Deliverable is to be linked to a Service Object, select an Item no. |
