How To : Set up Time Rounding Codes
Time rounding codes are used to round time entries and to create buffers between regular time and overtime. This is especially useful when Time Registration equipment is being used like punch clocks or mobile devices.
Setting up Time Rounding Codes
- In the Search box, type Time Rounding Codes.
- Select Time Rounding Codes to open the list of codes.
- Select New to create new codes or Edit to open a code for modifications.
- Enter a code and description for the code.
- To complete the setting use the following fields:
| Field | Description |
|---|---|
| Rounding (Min) | The time will be rounded in multiples of the number specified here |
| Lines | Are used to specify time buffers |
| Point of Time | A buffer should be created around the specified time |
| Time before Min. | Specify the start time of the buffer as the number of minutes before the Point of Time. |
| Time aftere Min. | Specify the ending time of the buffer as the number of minutes after the Point of Time. |
