How To : Setting up Formula Element
Add work types, filters or expressions in Formula Elements to further specify the formula source. A formula element is used in the formula. You can install a basic set of formula elements through the business template.
Setting up a Formula Element:
- In the Search box, type Formula Element.
- Select Formula Element to open the list of available formula elements.
- Select New to create a new formula element or Edit to open a code for modifications.
- Enter a code and description for the element.
- Typically, you must enter values for the fields in the following table.

| Source | Specify the formula source associated with the formula event. |
| Work Type | Specify the work type code associated with the formula event. |
| Expression | Define the expression for calculation purposes in this field. |
- Use the Status field to change the status of the formula element.
