How To : Setting up Formula Element

Add work types, filters or expressions in Formula Elements to further specify the formula source. A formula element is used in the formula. You can install a basic set of formula elements through the business template.

Setting up a Formula Element:

  1. In the Search box, type Formula Element.
  2. Select Formula Element to open the list of available formula elements.
  3. Select New to create a new formula element or Edit to open a code for modifications.
  4. Enter a code and description for the element.
  5. Typically, you must enter values for the fields in the following table.
Field Description
Source Specify the formula source associated with the formula event.
Work Type Specify the work type code associated with the formula event.
Expression Define the expression for calculation purposes in this field.
  1. Use the StatusĀ field to change the status of the formula element.
