Advanced Job List
An Advanced Job with the status Open can be a special kind of sales order where posting Costs is disconnected from posting Revenue. Or it can be an Advanced Project with Job Tasks scheduled with the Critical Path Method and alternative breakdown structures based on Job Elements and/or Job Activities.
- The Job is calculated with the Job Budget Lines.
- From Job Budget lines Job Planning lines are created as work preparation from which supply orders are created: Purchase, Production, Assembly or Transfer.
- Receiving the supply orders will create Job Ledger Entries, the actuals in the Job.
- Actuals are compared to Budget in the Forecast where an Estimate to Completion is calculated.
- Sales invoices and credit memos are issued to customers for various posted job entries and to invoice the cost.
- Integration to service is based on:
- Service Item: You can select Job Items, for which a Service Item Group is selected and where Create Service Item is enabled, from the Job Item list and have them created as Service Items, when creating the Service Item can be linked to the Job's Service Object.
From the Job List you can open the Job by clicking Edit in the ribbon. A double click on the line will open the Job Task List
