Subcontracting

Helps to control the workflows of subcontracting and sends warnings to the user if previous processes are not finished. To set these options:

1. In the Search box, type Advanced Manufacturing Setup.
2. Select Advanced Manufacturing to open the Industrial Equipment Manufacturing Setup page.
3. Select the Subcontracting fasttab for these options:

Field	Description
Warning in Output Journal	If this checkbox is selected, the system sends a warning if you try to select a subcontracting operation in the output journal.
Check if Invoiced	If this checkbox is selected and if there is still a subcontracting (purchase) order to be invoiced, you will not be able to change the status of a production order to Finished.
Accept Deviation at Receipt	If this checkbox is selected, the system checks the quantity to be received when you enter the purchase receipt for a subcontracting order. If it deviates from the ordered quantity, the system asks for confirmation.
