Unit Dimensions
Makes it possible to define various units such as length, surface, volume, weight and more and use them in the production BOM lines to calculate the quantity. These dimensions can be selected through a template: Basic Formula
- In the Search box, type Basic Formulas.
- Select Basic Formulas to open the Basic Formulas list.
In this page a Basic Formula can be created or maintained through the following fields:

| Calculation Formula | The following Formulas are available: - Length; - Length * Width; - Length * Width * Depth; - Weight |
| Base Length Unit of Measure Code | The UOM for the Base Length |
| Base Width Unit of Measure Code | The UOM for the Base Width |
| Base Depth Unit of Measure Code | The UOM for the Base Depth |
| Base Weight Unit of Measure Code | The UOM for the Base Weight |
| Length Unit of Measure Code | The UOM for the Length |
| Width Unit of Measure Code | The UOM for the Base Width |
| Depth Unit of Measure Code | The UOM for the Base Depth |
| Weight Unit of Measure Code | The UOM for the Base Weight |
When selected these settings will be copied to the Bill of Material line to calculate the "Quantity Per"
