Processing Transport Orders
The Transport Order combines one or more containers to be transported from a pick-up address to a delivery address. The transport orders can be inbound or outbound orders and contain all the information relevant to the transport. The transport order is the basis for transactions involving transport and their registration.
The following fasttabs are available on a transport order.
Fast Tab | Description |

General | The values of the fields in this fasttab contains general information about the transport order such as status information and shipping agents and service code. |
Lines | Based on the values provided by the container types, most of the fields in this fasttab are filled automatically when a container is linked. On the lines fasttab, the line-action has two options : - Container details. This is the possibility to drilldown into the open put-away / pick on order to see the actual content of the container. - Unlink container, which gives the user the possibility to disconnect the selected container from the transport order. |
Pickup | The values of the fields in this fasttab contain all relevant pickup information such as pickup address and contact information. |
Delivery | The values of the fields in this fasttab contain all relevant delivery information such as delivery address and contact information. |
Shipping | The values of the fields in this fasttab is based on the Transport Order Detail Lines. This fasttab contains pickup/delivery instructions as well date and time information. |
Details | The fields in this fasttab are mainly calculated fields: Total containers, weight, volume and loading length. The next group of fields are finance related and are only displayed on the fasttab. Currently, there is no relation with the financial part of the Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central and this feature. |
