How to: Use PDF Stationaries for the Attachments

Use this task when you want to add a pdf template to your attachments in Notification Management.

To use pdf stationaries:

  1. Make sure the pdf stationary is stored in some network location.
  2. Create a notification with Attachment Generator activity or use and existing Notification.
  3. Edit the properties of Attachment Generator  activity.
  4. Select the attachment line and click Stationaries.
  5. On the Stationaries page, for the report selected, first provide the Description.
  6. Click on Import and import the stationary template stored in your network drive. Once imported, note that the Stationary Defined field is selected.
  7. Click OK to close the page(s).
  8. Process the notification.
  9. On the output, open the attachment and check the result. You will observe that the stationary is applied automatically.

There are no special settings for the stationary, so in some cases (based on your stationary layout), you might have to adjust your report layouts.
