How to: Setup Label Printing Connections

To successfully connect to the Label Printing software, connections need to be imported to allow retrieval of the label templates and the available printers.

The Label Printing Connections are to be imported using the following path:

 

Departments/Solution Center/Label Printing/Label Printing Connections

 

The following connections are available for label printing. Please import the connections from the following folder available in the software package:

 

NAVBIS\Configuration Packages\Label Printing

 

Connection	Description
Label Printing Connection-GETLABELS.zip	This connection fetches the list of labels based on the label printing software selected and populates the Print Labels table with the list
Label Printing Connection-GETPRINTERS.zip	This connection fetches the list of printers configured with the label printing software and populate the Label Printers table with the list

Now the available printers on the server can be retrieved by opening the Label Printers page.

When you press the "Load Printers" button in the ribbon, it will process the GETPRINTERS connection and the N108 Label Printing Printer table is populated with the list of label printers that are installed.

The available printers on the server can be manually entered by opening the Label Printers page. It is best to copy the name and paste it into the Name.

NOTE! When setting up the printers for Loftware, it is important that the numbers match the printer name in the Label Printers Page in NAV.
