How to: Set Up Labels

The labels that are printed from Microsoft Dynamics NAV can be set up as codes. You can then assign labels to printers, and the program will print labels according to this setup.

To set up labels

1. In the Search box, enter Labels, and then choose the related link.
2. On the Home tab, in the New group, choose New.
3. In the Code field, enter a code to identify the label.
4. In the Description field, enter a brief description of the label.
5. In the Type field, select the type of activity for which the label is printed.
6. In the Connection field, select the correct labelprinting connection
7. Repeat this procedure for each label you want to set up.
