Transport and Deliveries - Miscellaneous Containers

Transport and Deliveries Containers are always connected to their source document. This information is inherited through the warehouse document and warehouse documents handles items type of inventory. However, especially, installation projects also require miscellaneous items like tools, etc.

For this purpose Miscellaneous Containers can be used to add content to a container without using a warehouse document:

• The Miscellaneous Container is created from the Project Task: Functions > Warehouse > Create Miscellaneous Container
• First select a type of Container
• Once the container is created open the container card and use the Add Content to Container action
• This action will show a list with planning lines from the project task with application type Deliver en of the following types:
  • Resource type of machine
  • Items type of non-inventory or service
• Select one or more lines to add them to the container
