Transport and Deliveries - Cross-Docking Containers
With Transport and Deliveries it is possible to receive items in a Container, put the Container away in a cross-dock bin and pick the complete Container again from an Inventory - or Warehouse Pick. To enable this function the following settings must be made:
- The Location must have warehouse settings for Require Put-Away, Require Pick and Bin Mandatory.
- The "Use Cross-Docking" option must be checked and the "Cross-Dock Due Date Calc." must specify a Date Formula on the Warehouse tab of the Location Card. Finally select a "Cross-Dock Bin Code" on the Bins tab of the Location card as a default Bin.
- On the ProjectCard a "Cross-Dock Bin Code" can be selected to override the same on the Location Card.
