Setting up Lifecycle State Transitions
The lifecycle lines table contains the information about the lifecycle state transitions. Each line specifies a change from a state to a state as well as the conditions, actions and authorizations that apply to change.
To set up lifecycle State Transitions
- In the Search box, enter Work Flows and then select the related link.
- Click Edit to open the lifecycle card.
- On the Lines FastTab select an empty line to create a new transition.
- Typically, you must provide values for the following fields:

Code From | Select a lifecycle state code |
Description From | The description of the selected state code is displayed here |
Code To | Select a lifecycle state code |
Description To | The description of the selected state code is displayed here |
No. of Conditions | Shows the number of conditions |
No. of Actions | Shows the number of actions |
Status | The options for this field are Enable and Disable |
Product | Some lifecycle transactions are only relevant if a certain product has been activated, over here you can define that product |
Confirm | When on the user is asked to confirm the transaction |
Due Date Formula | Type an expiration date formula, which update the state automatically after exceeding an expiration date |
