How to consume from a Production Container

Consuming from a production container is the same process as from a regular warehouse container in the consumption area. It is possible to consume less than the quantity on the container, not more.
Once consumption from a container has finished, the following possibilities remain:

  • Delete the pallet and deal with the remaining loose material manually,
  • Delete the assignment to the production order:
    • If the production container has only a single item on it, it will remain in existence and can be moved back into the warehouse (if applicable)
    • If the production container contains multiple items, the container will be destroyed and the items will become loose.
  • If the container is empty because all material on it has been consumed, the container will be destroyed.
