How to: Assign Containers to a Warehouse Put-away

When using warehouse put-aways, it is possible to link existing containers in the receiving zone and move them to the correct bin. It is also possible to create new containers and link them to the items that are moved to their bins.

Adding existing container to a warehouse put-away "take" or "place" line:

• In the search box, enter Warehouse Put-away and then choose the related link.
• From the list, select the correct line.
• On the home tab, in the manage group, choose edit.
• Use the lookup in the License Plate field on the line and select the correct container from the list.

Adding a new container to a warehouse put-away "place" line:

• In the search box, enter Warehouse Put-away and then choose the related link.
• From the list, select the correct line.
• On the home tab, in the manage group, choose edit.
• Select the correct "place" line and on the lines fast-tab select Functions and New Container. Fill in the following fields:

Field	Description
License plate	Change the license plate if necessary
Container Type Code	Choose a code from the list
Description	Change the description of the container is necessary
