Checklist to create a demo database with extended CRONUS data

  1. Complete an installation of Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central on premises 2020 release wave 1 (April release) (Application Build 16.0.11240, Platform Build 16.0.12076).

  2. Complete the instructions on Initialize IEM.

  3. Import Partner License through Windows PowerShell ISE Import-NAVServerLicense re-start the service Restart-NAVServerInstance.

  4. Start the web client.

  5. Navigate to Users and create an administrator as well as a second user for approval purposes.

    • Navigate to User Setup to link users to Resources.
    • Navigate to Approval Users, create one user with unlimited approval. rights and as substitute the other user. Set the first user as approver for the, substitute, user.

  6. Import and apply the RapidStart configuration packages provided in the release package:

    • PackageW1.ENU.EXTENDED.rapidstart to import, extended, Cronus data.
    • PackageW1.IEM.rapidstart to extend the Cronus data with IEM specific data. (correct Import errors where necessary)

  7. Import the LifeCycle *.zip files provided in the release package:

  8. Release LifeCycles, select all in the list and click Release.

  9. Navigate to Workflow User Groups and add the user with unlimited approval rights to each workgroup.

  10. Import workflows as provided in the release package:

  11. Open and enable each Workflow.

  12. Release Advanced Job Management templates.

    • Master Templates
    • Invoice Templates
    • Surcharge Models

  13. Release Resource Management templates.

    • Calendars
    • Formula's
    • Leave Agreements
