Releasing a process
A newly created process has the status "open". When a process is fully configured, it can be released. The entire process is checked on several conditions, so a released process is a validated process and can be used on a mobile client. An open process cannot be used on the mobile client, but can be modified. This ensures that no mobile users are using the process while its settings are being changed.
Releasing a process also sets the "Activity Begin" and "Activity End" fields on the controls of the process. The first editable textbox marks the beginning of an activity; the last editable textbox marks its end. This has the function that after processing the submit button for the textbox that is marked with "Activity End", the next activity in the workflow is shown. Releasing a process will automatically trigger the configuration check.
