Permission sets for BIS

(Cloud & on-premise)

Users without SUPER USER rights in Business Central can still use BIS. Access is determined by which permission set is assigned to the BC user's role.

The following permission sets are available:

  • TI-COMMON: Available after installing BIS, but not visible in the permission set list, only in the permission sets lookup list (from the User Setup page). This set assigns automatically to users.

  • TI-BIS-ESSENTIAL: Required for changes to activities and to send trigger actions to BIS to start a connection.

  • TI-BIS-ADMIN: Required for overall configuration in BIS.

  • TI-CONNECTIVITY: Required to use Connectivity Studio.
