In Business Integration Solutions, use the HEADERMAPPER activity to map the business object to the messaging infrastructure.

Usage

Use this activity to map a source document to the headers of an endpoint, such as SMTP Writer or Outlook Writer.

Concept

The header mapper is used to map settings used in an endpoint or activity that supports dynamic settings. For Example the SMTP and Outlook messaging infrastructure require header configuration such as recipient information (to, cc, bcc), sender information (from) and subject.

The Header Mapper activity accesses one or more source documents and converts them into a message as required by the endpoint.

To be able to work with the activity, you must select the endpoint for which you want to configure the headers. You must also specify the source document before you can configure the Message Header values. It is possible to map the fields to your source document (e.g. Field(“Customer/Email”)), but you can also add a constant value (e.g. “info@cronusinternational.com”) or a combination of both.
